The Co-curricular activities bring in a sense of competitive spirit to compete with self-first and then with peers adding to the holistic nature of the curriculum for the benefit of the students. Extra-Curricular Activities also contribute to the over all development of the individual. Participation in activities of their passion can increase the brain function, help concentrate and manage their time better, all of which contribute to higher grades. High endurance sports, for example, will train students to focus and build stamina in the face of intense difficulty. This gives them an advantage when it comes to studying and taking exams. For the benefit of the students, provisions for the following extra- curricular activities have been made in the school premises.
- Every Saturday CCA Periods and competitions are conducted to boost the team spirit and enhance the inherent talent among the students.
- Yoga and meditation is practiced daily during morning assembly, to help the students to improve concentration and control over their feelings
- Physical training classes are conducted for the right physical development of every child.
- News hour during daily assembly keeps the children abreast of current affairs
- Both modern and ancient games are played with required sports kits and guidance
- Skits and drama competitions are conducted regularly to spread cultural awareness among the students
- Classical and other various types of performing arts are organized
- Educational tours, exhibitions and picnics are regularly arranged to make the children understand the unity in diversity of India
- Symposiums, seminars and workshops are arranged and conducted regularly to have the students well informed of the latest happenings in the world
- Debates, elocution and quiz competitions are organized frequently to enable the children to improve their knowledge, thinking and assessing skills
- Foundation and Bridge Courses are provided for different competitive examinations and Olympiads
- Exposure to the various activities of the United Nations to enable them to understand their utility, the role of every individual innation building and participation.
Our Students are attended regional level Scout Guide camp conducted in our school in 2017. it
was a seven days camp.
